Interesting move by EZY and would make some observations re the DHSS contract.
1. Is this a move by the IOM DHSS to reduce costs?
2. Is it a move by EZY aimed at squeezing BE on charges only for EZY to back out.
3. I would have thought that the volume of wheelchair/assisted passengers would upset EZY's normal expectations on turnaround times.
With regards to LTN perhaps EZY will result in better service from the ground handlers at LTN. From experience the handlers at LTN persistently seem to
up departures on the FlyBe services, particularly on the IOM-LTN-JER services. Examples are missing passengers and then problems unloading unaccompanied luggage. They are also prone to allocating seats that are already occupied by through passengers. Last week advised that we would be on the ground for 25 mins and we eventually left over 1 hour after arrival. I know it hacks off the FlyBe crews.
