ORNGE uses helicopters and fixed wing a/c. In northwestern Ontario there are a number of isolated first nation communities that have no road access and rely on air transportation. ORNGE provides these places with medevac service.
I saw a video on the internet about an emergency medevac using a King Air flying to Winnipeg, with a critical patient on board. I can't seem to find it but maybe with a bit of searching it will show up.
