Gosh, they are such insincere folk, aren't they? Disaster relief? My 4rse! More like they need further base/s closer to where they can watch the China and/or North Korea (at a pinch, Afghanistan and Pakistan?). Their hold on Kadena AFB in Okinawa has been under pressure for quite a while, Subic Bay was lost long ago, and Guam has limited real estate. I reckon they want another 'safe' base in the Pacific.
