Do all these gulf operators require an ATP? I've been working in HEMS for the past seven years, advancing along into middle management (oh joy!
), and an ATP hasn't been required and is expensive. I'm north of 4,000 hours, currently managing an HEMS base and an EC135. Prior to that flew BK117, BO105...but still only have the comm'l ticket with instrument.
I'd like to get into an overseas gig, 6/6 or something like, because the wife has the kind of job she really doesn't want to leave, plus we'd like the money and for me to be at home for longer periods. I have a current passport and in any case I've promised to remain where I am for the rest of the year.
If you can give me a lead it will be appreciated. If it turns into a job it will cause a fifth of a good single-malt to be delivered to your house.
Can do? PM me, OK?
