Why not just stay in your current job, wait and use that income 'to pay the bills'? Or are you not working? If not you'd be mad not to take the Emirates job and let it be BAs loss. It wouldn't be the first time BA have selected and not employed. And I mean that unbiasedly. Sometimes life pushes you in certain directions.
