Thanks for the pointers guys. Yep I wouldn't be trying to go there on the basis of a CPL but seeing if I would qualify under any of my other skills then see how things go for working on a conversion while doing other jobs. What I'm not sure of yet is if I have to be fully logbook current under the FAA rules to receive the exemptions from full training under the CASA rules or if the basic ticket suffices. I'm thinking it's probably the former. Anywho that's something for me to try dig out.
