The Rage, are you saying being low-cost means pilots & other crews deserved to be treated poorly? are you saying being low-cost means co shld not recognize seniority? are you saying that being low-cost means no fringe benefits for staffs? Lic renewal is not THE issue. What about giving priority to those that have served their dues to promotion/upgrading to X than to bring the outsider leagues bypassing the rest? What about giving free upgrades to premium seats for tech-crew? What about subsidizing the monthly car-park renewal (1/2 if not full)? What about giving discounts to crews when purchase food on board? Are these too much to ask? You don't need to run a legacy airline to treat staffs better. You asked Bus to list out what he/she & other crews want? Isn't that the management job to figure out? Creating a condusive workplace environment is the responsibilities of the company not waiting for staffs to voice out.

Mr Fly, we don't expect legacy treatment from a low-cost. If this is the range of pay they can afford then, at least, work on some basic fringe benefits/privilege. Other low-cost airlines may be worse but, wanting to be a successful low-cost airlines, the mgmt shld realize that it's the PEOPLE in the company that contributes to its success so, it's important to look after the staffs' welfare in order to retain good quality ppl esp tech crew. If the company has quantity but no quality, will you put yourself or your family to fly with that airline? Conclusion is, to succeed is make it your own way not to compare with those worse or less better than you. If a company keeps comparing with those worse than them, then the company will not improve.
