Vigilant I'm sure the service aviators receive around stn is more to do with how some people conduct themselves and not to do with whether or not you're wearing wings.
B word, I read the same dits but I'm sure it said the badges would be brought in as an initial issue at ph1 try- not many aircrews earn't their wings by that stage, no doubt an ill thought out policy that has seen thousands of badges bought and paid for sitting in a factory somewhere waiting for names that will never arrive! nonetheless, like you I haven't seen anybody wearing a new badge yet..... Or a WO wearing a leather jacket with blues??
