wearing metal wings/brevets on blue shirts
It was hard enough to get this one through -
MoD Approved Pattern Jacket Leather jackets with blues.
The option for wings on CS95 decision was also taken at the same time in 2010 - a no cost option. But wings were going to cost a fortune for blues and the flimsy shirts not up for the job.
Latest I heard was a name badge (with rank) with a RAF logo for non-aircrew and a flying badge for those that have qualified. But that was 10 months ago and things are a bit more fiscally challenged these days!
