Actually, there are numerous independent schools on the west side of Vancouver - one of the reasons why Asians(who can afford it) choose the west side.

I am curious. How does DESS fit into the mix these days? Our youngster attended DESS in the mid/late nineties. But Dubai was a much different place then.
