I think the poster was meaning Jetstream 31 obviously a turboprop and not a Jet so he was not making an issue over it being a Jet or Turboprop.
So 3 x weekly Blue Islands flights with a 20 pax Jetstream 31 from BOH, big deal even if you say 'at least it is in the right direction'!
Look what Southend has done with getting Easyjet and their own terminal has not even been completed yet where BOH has there 'new' terminal complete with the stupid origional check in area and it is still over looked by the likes of Easyjet for any further UK expansion.
It can't be all down to the drop off charges, recession, etc, at the end of the day something has to change at BOH as to the management structure as it is a dire situation for an airport to be in after investing so much in new facilities.
If only SOU had the length of the BOH runway and the space for further aprons then I am sure there would see a massive expansion in the area but not at BOH.
