I think he (TT) must have pulled the tach circuit breaker, and just turned off the gov stating "governor failure".
On thinking about this I can't recall if he failed the gov first to see that I could fly using manual control and then failed the tachs... it was quite a stressful flight - one to be erased form memory for ever!!!
