With a validation you would only receive a PPL+IR+ME without commercial privileges so you need to do a conversion:
  • Instrument written test
  • Training to proficiency ( usually 12-15 hrs)+ flight exam
  • Commercial written test
  • Training to proficiency (usually 15-20 hrs) + flight exam
