Hi Avenger, not sure you are right on this about traveling, because the documents I have read states that traveling time before a flight has to be calculated as part of the duty period if there is no rest period scheduled between transport and flight duty, so I do not agree with you here - yes the safety factor is not the case after a flight so traveling time after a flight is not limiting whereas traveling time before has to be a safety limiting factor.
This is exactly where the twist is hidden. We are all assigned a "Main Base" and that is per definition what is mentioned in the AOC and in the AOC there is only one airport mentioned, the one where the Headquaerter is situated: Ataturk Havalimani. You cannot operate with "a city" as Mainbase
