Just had a look at the First Capital Connect timetables. They serve 45 stations south of the Thames with a direct rail service without changing trains from Luton Airport. In fact they serve more stations south of the Thames than north of the Thames from Luton.
Err how many stations does Stansted serve south of the Thames? Come to that how about Heathrow and Southend?
