I'm a passenger on the Flybe branded Orkney-Edinburgh route once or twice a month, and the Highland Park Whisky liveried interisland orkney routes several times a year. Rarely hear Scottish accents on the tannoy, hear lots of non indigenous scottish accents amongst the passengers. But the whole country is now multi cultural/accented - so a more diverse culture amonst the flight crew just reflects the diverse culture of modern Scotland. They always have a warm welcome for my West Highland Terrier when she flies with me (for free on the interisland flights) and recognise her as a frequent flier.

As long as they are safe pilots I don't mind where they come from originally.
