Yes, I agree that the proof will be in the pudding for JB. However you'd realise that a fairly lean airline during a global downturn undergoing a building phase is going to take some hits. And don't even get me started on why it might be that Jetstar seems to be the only low cost carrier in the entire world which bucks this trend so dramatically and counter-intuitively........

But does it bother you at all that AJ so regularly cries "poor", predicts impending doom and gloom for Qantas unless everybody agrees to work for free (metaphorically speaking), then announces a healthy profit under virtually whatever circumstances?

Both of the above phenomenon are intriguing and it certainly makes me wonder.....
