The tapestry is a bit odd, as it shows a dromedary, a leopard?, a lion, a staircase (?) with a blue robe/cloak/river slowing down the steps, and an Egyptian profile on the throne (?).

The Egyptian figure is the typical motionless side view, whereas the boys/men holding the animals are quite vibrant and colorful (tree-dimensional.)

As an aside, I came across this animated version of the Bayeux Tapestry.

It shows the Norman invasion represented by embroidery on " 0.5-by-68.38-metre (1.6 by 224.3 ft) long linen, ending with the Battle of Hastings.

The tapestry is annotated in Latin. It is exhibited at Musée de la Tapisserie de Bayeux in Bayeux, Normandy.
