It varies from company to company.
Some companies may want you to pay for so called "line training". Which means YOU will pay THEM to fly first 300-1000 hours.
While other companies will provide you with type-rating and everything else.
As you may have figured out, paying for line training is a scam and we dont wont it in our profession, so I hope you (and everyone else) will stay away from it.
For TR, its still bad that we have to pay for TR, however, for many new-educated pilots its may be the only way to make it into cockpit.
But you can always do some CFI, build some hours, gain experience, get to know people and you may get into good company which will sponsor your TR.
