Best summed up by one of my students when tracking Berry Head Vor who turned around and said, well if I m tracking this because I am lost i would be completly fooked seeing as every direction you can fly to it while over the land will take you out to sea !! Same with Lands End my other closest vor's !!! About as useful as a chocolate fire guard
To make matters more intresting if you take a poll of all private helicopters I reckeon 95% will not have a vor or adf but will have sat nav, so what does that tell you !!!!
