twochai - SLOP is to the right, either 1nm or 2nm.

If you're approaching head on as the poster suggests and both a/c are using SLOP they'll be up to 4 nm's offset.

Camera airplane stays up sun, plane to be photographed offsets(SLOP) down sun.
