B****cks!

I know that this is a rumours forum but there is a lot of complete tosh being talked here, especially by Util BUS. To set a few things straight:

There is no new owner of EAAC. There are ongoing discussions with at least 2 possible purchasers but nothing is yet set in concrete. A sale seems likely but is not definate.

A scheduled low-cost service from BOH-PIK on the 737-200 will be starting shortly.

There is a possibility of adding 737-300s or -400s in the future.

The 747-200s have mileage in them yet. They were bought cheaply and do not have high direct operating costs. 2nd-hand -400s would be a more likely replacement (than 767s!) a few years down the road.

Several contracts for the 747 for next year are under discussion. Signing of these contracts may be delayed until after the sale of the company (if there is to be a sale).
