Plymouth - Glasgow 11 August
What happened?
This simple trip turned into an a journey that would have daunted even Michael Palin: five airports in one day!
Eastern having dropped Plymouth from the route. I make my own way to Newquay to be told "Flight's cancelled, didn't you know"?. Taxi to Exeter, nice FlyBe person says; "We don't fly to Glasgow from here, you'll have to change aircraft at Manchester". After passing through Manchester finally arrived in Glasgow nine hours after leaving home. Plymouth to Glasgow is easily driveable in 8hrs 30mins.
Can anyone throw any light on what went wrong at Newquay on that fateful day?
