at the moment they re selling false hope, and I don't think that's very honest.
As long as people buy, they will sell. Everyone enrolling on these courses has it upon themselves to weigh up the risks vs benefits and to make their own decision.
Look at the figures (not the pretty ones in the shiny brochures), and the answers are there in plain black and white (if it's not in black and white, it's probably some clever marketing font choice in a shiny brochure and should be taken with a pinch of salt*).
They sell the training and offer the hold pool... the false hope is supplied in ample amounts by the punters more often than not.
*If you've already been starry eyed and suckered, you may wish to wash down the salt with Tequila and lemon. It numbs the pain.
