What happens to Baby has been discussed and I am not optimistic, I am afraid.
Mainline will survive but in a much more streamlined version. If it were my trainset I would lease slots to other Star Alliance partners, drop aircraft leases wherever cheaply possible. It could be a relatively quick fix for an airline that has a long way to go to return to anything like profitability. Realistically I can't see any other way to go other than close the whole thing down, but I cannot see Lufthansa choosing the thermonuclear option.
