in defence of zenon, they are a fair bunch of people who have most likely had a call from an operator with a requirement of 'we need x for y' and are reaching out to see if anyone is out there that is available that could do it.
the people over at zenon are not creating the demand there and in today's business saying to a prospective 'nah sorry can't help you try somewhere else' isn't going to work as a long term business strategy.
You have to look behind it and consider why an operator needs a crew for such a short period of time? crew reductions and looking to pick up shortfalls with contractors ? why are they doing that ? in today's environment perhaps the operator cant afford to have crews sitting around with no work to fly? then you have ask why is that ?
