An interesting point of view indeed....
I am entirely aware why other senior officers received censure for their remarks (I understand this has not been the case for AOC); entirely in line with the asertion that serving senior officers must exercise appropriate care and wisdom when expressing any public comment. I do remain surprised (..and not naively
) that these particular remarks were made in an open forum and certainly do not agree that they can be justified because it was a (rather unedifying) Typoon sales pitch!
