BA have said you have to be 18 by the 1st of Feb 2012 to apply, yet they've said this scheme will be running until 2016?
I'm not 18 until July 2013, so is there no chance of me being able to apply then even though the course will still be open?
I'm so gutted age gets in the way of everything, just hoping other airlines follow suit for when I'm old enough
You will be able to apply. When they say they are running it until 2016, I've interpreted this as they will do several rounds of recruitment. I'm 18 in May 2012 so miss the age cutoff for now, next year I imagine the age cutoff will be 1 year later so 1st Feb 2013. I doubt they will recruit now for people to start courses in 2016! I think that's what it means anyway... hopefully someone can clarify
