A*, C, D, in Music, Maths and Physics respectively. What are the chances giving it's a BBC criteria?
I'm going to go the other way and say that it may be acceptable. In terms of A level points, what you have is equivalent. If an A* is 140, A is 120, B is 100 etc... then both A*CD and BBC are worth 280 points.
Of course, my guess is as good as any. Just remember, the one certain rule with the scheme is you have to be in it to win it! Unless you don't have the time at all to put in an application, no harm done.
