also why dont aer arann move the edinburgh flight to derry surely it would be more successful or just add it and also keep it at donegal

Aer Arann don't fly Donegal Edinburgh, they fly Donegal to Glasgow. The routes seems to perform quite well so they certainly wouldnt want to get in beside Ryanair on the Derry/Glasgow market.
They also had planned to operate Derry/Edinburgh and Manchester but these were cancelled before they got off the ground sadly. Good opportunity for Flybe if they do list it.
