I really hate to tell you, but no, they will not consider Dash 8 time. FedEx, UPS, and other heavy carriers (including NWA at the time, Delta, Hawaiian, Continetal, United etc) will consider it, but the all mighty Aus Pilots here don't. (Yeah, I've had a beer). Sorry Mates. Lol. . . Seriously though, no, turboprop time is unfortunately not considered here even though you have more experience in LVO and cold weather ops than most pilots here. Most turbo guys are more experienced in weather than the none turbo guys here but that doesn't matter. What matters is if you can engage the autopilot at 500' on takeoff and disconnect at 500' on landing. That makes you a "SUPER" pilot. Lol. . .
