If your flight is cancelled due to unserviceable equipment, you should thank your lucky stars that someone was being careful enough to have noticed, before you found yourself hurtling along at 500 mph in the atmosphere in need of that unserviceable part.
Yes, there are several scenarios that could ground an aircraft with U/S APU fire detection. I hope the courts make you cover the costs of your frivolous claim!
