Should a heavier aircraft be more difficult for the wind to turn
no. weight affect only rate of descent, take off, climb...not even stall as plane can stall at any speed.
turn and gliding distance not affected by change of weight.
if you fly planes fully loaded. you will feel it. this come from its inertia and need extra power on the engine as extra weight is pulling the plane down.
less drift when airplane is faster.
weight affect only captain salary.
