The JAA have modified their guidance material to specify a fixed number of questions in each of the ATPL exams rather than just a minimum. The CAA will start to conform from November. The net result seems likely to be a reduction in time pressure in some papers, particularly General Nav (54 questions), Mass & Balance (22 questions), Flight Planning (56 questions) and Instruments (56 questions).
