omni's fuel was checked and certified by caap. this was after caap tightened and increased its standards to weed out any and all unscrupulous identities.
assigning blame to just one organization is unfair and biased. if you want to place blame, include those that allowed that in the first place. caap allowed omni to use mogas.
if the usage of mogas is illegal, then caap shouldnt have allowed omni to use it. they should have grounded the whole fleet until they changed the fuel to avgas.
but the thing is, omni passed the caap checks where other flying schools didnt.
it IS a tragedy that the two died. but assign blame where blame should be assigned, and include those that should be included.
targeting your hate and anger at omni wont bring the two back.
granted omni has its own skidmarks inside their front doors, but if you do dig deeper, its like striking oil...
update: omni -> zest, airphil, cebu pac, sea air, air asia, pal (the airline, not the school)
