It's a direction of thought, and question that I am certainly interested in...
I've posted at one point, the opinion that the "nose-up" along with the "roll" SS command applied by the PF when taking control from the AP, was because the AP has disconnected during a time interval, in which due to turbulence, it was controlling the A/C in an attempt to return it to level, and thus the A/C was not level yet. So the PF attempted to complete that "return to level" "
started but not completed" by the AP.

More analysis to be done by BEA (and perhaps me). Why did AP and A/THR disconnect 2 seconds before the speeds dropped?
