You should be very wary of flooding the market with CVs every month. Those airlines with an HR department switched on enough to file on computer will quickly catch on that you are a serial CV poster, and delete you from their 'possibles' list. DO NOT PlSS THESE PEOPLE OFF!!. .As Granddad (!) says, update your CV, say, six-monthly, or if there is a significant change to report, and perhaps ring up every couple of months (unless you are requested not to).. .The fact is that there are very few jobs of any description out there just now, and you won't be invited to interview if you've upset/bored/besieged the Chief Pilot's PA - there are plenty of other, less troublesome pilots to invite!. .At the moment, walking up to an airline's offices and asking to see the Chief Pilot isn't likely to work. Companies' security just will not allow casual visitors to walk in; you will need an appointment to get past the doorman.. .Right now, you have to be patient and lucky. A bit of inventiveness doesn't hurt, but don't become a pain in the a*se!
