Having read that informative thread...
I was interested in your experiences regarding applications.
I have an issued ATPL 1500+hrs MCC current FI rating etc. Every month I send around fifty CV's to all types of company. I get around twenty replies throughout each month, 15 of which are flat refusals " we are not recruiting, we will not keep your cv, F*** off and die...oh, and we wish you every success"
I get three or four "we are not currently recruiting but we will keep your CV on file.."
And I occasionaly get an application form to fill in. My tip for this month is Channel Express, Cathay and TNT.
A brief note on Ryanair - I have paid my £50 'processing fee' and yet after two and a half weeks, they are unable to even muster an acknowledgement. There's value for money! And I look forward to paying them £150 if they decide to interview me, and I will be more than happy to pay £15000 for my own type rating upon being offered the job........ I don't think.
