Yesterday I got a letter from Virgin saying all my charges had gone up.
On the blower to Virgin, again!
"This is Cora, can I help you?"
"Shall we start with my account number?"
"Yes,that would be nice."
Bla bla account number and password.
"But that account's been closed."
"I know, I've been closing it for months, so why do I get a letter saying my charges have gone up?"
"The computer did that."
"But why, when my account has been closed?"
"it sends those letters to all our customers, and ex-customers, just so you know what's going on."
What a waste of effort, postage and paper!
