see a friend of mine 8 months ago did this. he was holding an faa cpl so he went to canada converted his faa cpl to a candian one, plus he did his canadian rt, in that case he converted directly to an rtr A or C (not sure, dont remember which one) by paying 10000 and he got it for lifetime. but if you have only the canadian rt and not the cpl then you need 30 hrs in the previous 36 months or part 1 and in this situation your rtr will have a 20 year valiidity but with the uk rt the rtr is valid till your uk rt expires. I have heard of late this whole business of converting your faa cpl to a canadian one hasnt worked at the wpc in the last couple of months but then again im not sure ive just heard this from people so please dont take my word for it. but i hope ive cleared any doubts you may have had. if you do know people in delhi your best bet would be to ask them to go to wpc and inquire about the candian cpl and canadian rt thing. cheers.
