As you will see from the broad spectrum of answers that there is no problem with being a female pilot in the aviation industry. I have flown with many excellent female pilots - one of the best was about 20 and flew it as though it was on rails!
The questions you ask about starting training have been asked and answered in other threads; likewise employment prospects and conditions.
