The curve shows the stall warning threshold. It varies with Mach number according to a schedule that has been posted by A33Zab a few weeks ago. Except for the NCD condition explained by mm43, stall warning begins when AoA exceeds the stall warning threshold, and continues until the AoA has decreased below that threshold.
