I saw one on approach from my house as I got home last night, was suprised to see a second on approach about 10 minutes later.

The gf phoned me to ask what they were, she heard on the radio there were about 6 military jets performing some sort of operation at ABZ.

Needless to say by the time I got to the airport at 8 last night they were long gone

Sorry I can't shed more light though!
