I have no issue with the hours of work folk have done on these images and they are 'interesting'. My concern is that they will inevitably become 'fact' and we will be again be plastered in posts similar to those resulting from the Meteosat images '"See - they flew straight in to a big red thunderstorm"etc etc. As long as everyone remembers that these 'graphs' are NOT from the FDR we will be ok.
However, it won't be long before we see- "since they had xxxx at 02:xx:xx (from the FDR trace) then surely yyy"
