It was the MBA who destroyed Qantas Engineering and Line Maintenance in particular. Seems that all the aircraft were supposed to run exactly on schedule, never have a defect and the chaps should have been able to work two or three at a time. I had to constantly hear about how wonderful everything was in the in the Component workshop and how they planned to incorporate those same production methods across the entire engineering spectrum
