A locally purchased howler monkey mounted on the cockpit coaming, with a chain attached to it's testicles and clipped to the gear selector handle, ensures a gear down warning is sounded in the pilots ears on landing.
Commenting on it's first demonstration, Plt Off Scrogins was keen to point out he was already working on a stall warning horn utilizing a Basset Hound, A funnel and pair of nutcrackers.
