QF use to be a career airline. Once there you did your time, moved through the ranks then retired. Not a bad thing at all. Why would you look at leaving that when you don't have to? Settle the family where you all want to live, go to work a few times per month, sign me up!! So if Fozzy or anyone else in QF was thinking of leaving that to join the sandpit I would question their state of mind. Unfortunately mainline is being raped, and the QF career path seems to no longer exist. Hence now it seems a sensible move to look elsewhere.
Don't worry silky, if you could slip through the EK recruiting process I am sure a few QF lads will to.
