Because these aircraft were leased by Iberia from RBS and their leases have come to an end. The question really should be why are EI not operating these aircraft if they are paying to lease them now? Possible reasons, in no particular order, not enough pilots, awaiting termination of lease/sale of some of the older 320/321 aircraft, got such a good deal, they couldnt pass it up etc.
