To be very, very honest. If you still haven't thought/set/asked a question about the appropriate path, plus if you ask around is becoming pilot worth it or not, my advice would be to consider an other career. Not worth it.
This career is for people getting to the point, this is not an easy career.
If you want to get married (what a challenge), you get married, you don't ask around wether it's worth it.
Kind of the same applies here, basically.
Just to be understood: I compare airplanes to marriage, not to women of course!
