Nervous SLF.... there are some wonderful courses in almost every country that address the common affliction of the fear of flying. I have had many pax on board that say they are very worthwhile. As to your actual flight, I don't believe you're a troll. Your expectations weren't met and that compounded your problem. Like any business, we have staff that aren't suited to the job, but the majority of crew have a high level of professionalism, regardless of internal and external demands. Two people can ask me for the same thing in two different ways and my response can differ greatly. Treat me like a human/friend/equal and I will be yours for the flight. Go the other way and I will still serve, but with a heavy heart. Names can be difficult to pronounce depending on culture. My name is a burden and is ALWAYS incorrectly pronounced. I gently explain how it is pronounced and then usually don't bother a second time. As to saying you didn't feel you belonged there, I would ( gently) suggest that this may be an inadequacy in your self belief, as we do not know who had been upgraded, used points or paid full fare. As stated, if you have a problem, then please raise it during the flight so it can be addressed.
